all sorted, found some thread lock, new lever fitted, big thanks to tony for making up the new cable, i shortened the torque arm as it was interfering with the new cable, but all is good now,  im off for a dooking good weekend.

on the ride home from the tea party my front brake fucked up, big thanks to Sean Hanley for stopping and lending a hand to get me back to the services, at the time i assumed the front torsion arm bolt had worked loose and fell out causing the drum to spin and pull the cable out of the front lever and wrap itself around the front wheel causing it to lock up, i fucking shit myself, today i had chance to pull off the front wheel and have a look at getting the pimp ready for a southern gathering, inside the hub i found the other half of the front torsion arm bolt, what i thought had worked loose had actually sheared, with new bolt cut to size and drum cleaned and refitted I’m ready to machine up a sleeve to fit inside the 12mm rose joints i will be using, I’m going with 12 mm stainless rose joints on 12mm stainless rod, a tad over engineered, but I don’t want a repeat performance of front brake lock up, I’ll polish it all up so it looks pretty, i have managed to beg/steal an hour on a friends lathe on Sunday then I’m off to see Tony on Monday to get the cable made up and get my new front lever, fingers crossed i should be back pimping the streets of Salford very soon.

THE ITALIAN JOB

I sold my bike novice on eBay to a very nice chap in Italy, this morning he sent a small truck to collect her,  a 60 foot fucking artic down my street in Shitsville Salford, i cant believe i sold my first bike, a bit gutted she's gone, but onwards and upwards, please look after the bike Mr Italy.
